Hi
I tried but don´t find any easy solution to this visuell/plott problem.
DWG text with background fill, what is this? and can I in microstation avoid the backgroundcolor somehow?
In some cases when dwg file is delivered the text has an filled background on the text and sometimes it do not have it. What is this background and how can I get microstation to read the text as normat text (without the background fill)?
Is there an easy way to handle this in microstation woithout changing the source dwg file? this issue is related on active dwg file or dwg as an referens.
Example
dwg open in Acad 2023:
same file opened with connect edition:
PS, this is an titleblock but the same issue can be in normal drawing/model.
Best regards
Tom

IMHO this is a DWG feature that is not fully supported by microstation

Hi Frank
You are joking.. right? This must be one of the basic basics to solve if you say that you can handle dwg format??

No.I'm not joking but I said "not fully..supported". Microstation text background is style based, am I right?! AutoCAD DWG text background is element based.
further try AutoCAD's annotation scaling with microstation : result: not compatible
Ok, but is there non workaround for this issue?
