I often use the keyin "clipboard pastespecial Text To Design File" (which i have on a function key) combined with "clipboard cut" to cut and paste text rotated to current view. In V8i this worked fine but in Connect (Update 17) all pasted text appear on the level "Default". I want it to be on the active level.
Is there any way around this?

Why don't you just open the text editor and paste the text into there? When you paste the text in the editor select Paste Unformatted so it uses the active level & text style. It's essentially the same process other than you are opening the text editor.

The process would get more complicated if I need to use the editor since I use this method to fix hundreds of texts. Now i just press F8 and F9 on the keyboard (I've made function keys from the keyin).

So you are replacing incorrect text? If so why not use the replace text tool?
It's just the rotation and placement that's wrong. I use this to paste several texts with the correct row space and rotation, as you can see on the picture in the original post.
