Hi,
I have been using 2D MicroStation and recently swapped to 3D. I have done a section callout of a model, but it just shows an outline of the parts with no fill. When doing a 2D section drawing we use different colour fills to indicate different materials. How do you show a fill on a cut through 3D model section.
You can define the fill color of the cut. If you click on the three dot right of Cut you can customize the way the cut looks.
If you are using MicroStation CONNECT (please always specify the version you are using) you can use Display Rules to further customize the on level etc.

You should create a Display Rule called Cut and create two rules, probably based on different levels.
Have a look at this Youtube clip.

Did you have any problems printing drawings that contain fill color created with this command? The problem I'm having is that fill doesn't show if I use pen table (pic 1), and if I use rasterized image to print, then pen table doesn't change the drawing into black and white (pic 2).
