make raster reference to look like the reference dialog

I wish the reference raster file dialog were laid out like the reference file dialog using the same icons

Better yet have them both use them use the same icons as the element manipulation tools Move Scale Rotate, and Mirror

  • it is funny you asked for this.

A few years back when I worked at Bentley I asked development to consolidate those, along with the rest of the "attachment options" (point clouds, reality mesh, etc...)

I was pretty much told they work as designed and to stop creating more work for them.

There is a LOT of cleanup they could do, but they choose not to.

  • I often found new users  load the wrong  manager and having them look different  made it easier to realise its the wrong  tool, but combining the two with a submenu option just for rasters and use the same icons would be  best of both worlds

  • I would like to see tools be intuitive. If its a 2d element then you get 1 set of choices. If its a 3d element you change it to allow 3d manipulations

    For example

Modify tool in 2d could also be used in place of the 3d modify entity

extend tool in 2d could also be used in place of the 3d modify entity

Insert vertex  & delete vertex be capable of adding or subtracting from a linear solid

Chamfer and fillet  goes without saying

Copy \ move parallel  would be able to work with linear slabs

Trim to intersection could extend and intersect  3d objects this would act like unite solids with the added ability to extend
