Hi everyone,
I saw a few posts that explained how to export the models in a dgn file to seperate DWG files
https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/microstation-forum/171130/export-file-with-multiple-models-as-seperate-files/492329
, however I was wondering whether it's possible to save a dgn file with multiple models to seperate dgn files instead.
Hi Mike,
ORD model management is a bit more messy than vanilla Microstation as there are "managed" 3d models that can't be deleted as it breaks the 2d-3d model links/relationships that is fundamental to how ORD works.
Post in the ORD forum and you'll get some additional ORD-specific help from the user base (that don't also monitor the Microstation forum).
Regards,
Mark

I don't have OpenRoads. The utility was developed and tested with plain old MicroStation. The OP seems to like it.
The message you see indicates that OpenRoads locks ThreeDSpace (whatever that is) to prevent its removal. ThreeDSpace is not part of MicroStation. Presumably that's one reason why the OpenRoads developers created LastMileUtilities. Post questions about LastMileUtilities in the OpenRoads Forum.

As has been suggested by Jon Summers, as these utilities you are having issues with had been produced and programmed specifically for OpenRoads and OpenSite Designer it would be suggest that you should be asking your question in the Communities page relating to that software. This is the MicroStation Communities Forum, and we would not have any knowledge of these tools or getting other VBA code to operate in this other Bentley software.

Well, I am still stuck. Still can't get LastMileUtilities to work, and your utility won't work with OpenRoads files either, at least not cross section sheet models.
I do know there are several output methods for generating cross sections, but other than creating everything in the current file just locks up my ORD right now. I have a service ticket in and will be reloading ORD (or upgrading if available) tomorrow.
Thanks again!

True, caught that after posting. And since I broke something in my WorkSpace, I intend to run your utility instead! Thanks for the reminder, for all.
