I am trying to find a feature or an add-on that has a library of irregular (still repeating) hatch patterns such as a concrete aggregate display, or even different solid shading hatching.
Just something beyond the hatch/cross hatch solid lines

RE: Concrete Hatch & Solid Hatching

Any cell can be selected to be a pattern cell. That is an option in both the Cell Library dialog, and the Pattern toolbox.

MicroStation has PATTERNS, not HATCHES.

What you would consider a "solid hatch" is actually an element attribute called "Fill"

The Hatch tool in MicroStation only places single-spaced parallel hatching.

The Crosshatch tool in MicroStation only places crossing hatching lines.

What I believe you are talking about (AutoCAD HATCH) is actually Patterning in MicroStation. That can use cells as the pattern.

As Jon mentioned, this is explained further in the Help file.

RE: Concrete Hatch & Solid Hatching
How do I apply a cell as a hatch object?
