Hello guys! I have an interesting problem that is happening to me using OpenCities Map Advanced version 17.
I have a linestyle that was created in the past V8I version, which consists of text symbol
The symbol was created with creating a text first, dropping the element and then creating a symbol.
It works fine when I open DGNs in V8I version, however, in OpenCities Map Advanced, the text is missing! (only line is rendered but the text doesnt even appear)
Or in different model, the text is weird looking:(in V8I, the text is same in all models)
After changing its display settings and seeing the geometry:
Can you guys give me some hints where to look to fix this problem? I've tried everything, changing coordinate system, deleting it, play with model settings, but cant find solution to what might be the cause for this behavior and why is the text not displaying properly when I want to.
I also tried to create the symbol with new Opencities Map Advanced version, same thing is happening. If i insert regular text there, like "test", it works, however when I insert degree symbol, the text is not displaying.
Edit: Some additional info: when i create a new DGN the style is displayed fine, however I need to make it work also on this older DGN which was created back in the past using V8I. I checked also design file settings, but cant see anything different...Or maybe are there some more ways to see DGN settings that are not accessible from the Settings menu ?
Thanks in advance!
As requested i uploaded a .zip file containing DGN file with model, which contains lines using ISO_-1 linestyle. Both should have text symbol on each of their sides, but none of them is displayed. Attached also .rsc and color table, which was supposedly used to create said DGN (I found out it might have some kind of connection)

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone checked the attached file or has any idea what could cause this behavior. Thanks

I started MicroStation CONNECT 17.2 and opened your file. The lines with your custom style have no text. I opened the .rsc file with the MicroStation Line Style Editor, and that too shows only lines but no text.

Hi Lubo,
This issue appears to be file-specific.
It seems to be file specific issue.
This is a very large linestyle scale. See the image below.
Could you try file fencing the contents from the original file to see if this clears up the issue? In the attached file this could not be reproduced.
