I am chaining item setting key-ins with PLACE BLOCK ICON but I cannot seem to alter the Edge 1 checkbox and field. The available final commands in the key-in SET ITEM TOOLSETTINGS are- EDGETOGGLE
- ELEMENTAREA
- ELEMENTFILL
- ELEMENTFILLCOLOR
- LENGTH
- PLACEBLOCKTYPE
These are all self explanatory for which settings they can alter, but EDGETOGGLE [= number] and LENGTH [= number] only seem to affect 'Edge 2' and I cannot figure out how to affect 'Edge 1'Anyone able to enlighten me?

One way to discover tool settings variable information is to record a VBA macro. Then examine the macro to see what application information it has captured.

Unfortunately I do not understand the syntax here. Are you able to extract the necessary key-ins from this?I try to avoid using macros at all costs and prefer to chain multiple key-ins together.
You can use keyins as below to set Edge1,Edge2 value. But I still can't find how to toggle on Edge1 because the macro recorder can't record toggle Edge1 action either.
MACRO VBA LOAD Default MACRO VBA EXECUTE SetCExpressionValue "Edge1", 10000 MACRO VBA EXECUTE SetCExpressionValue "Edge2", 20000
Looking at the SET ITEM TOOLSETTINGS key-ins available with other tools that have toggle switches, this appears to be a programming error in PLACE BLOCK ICON where only one control is available
Comared with the same tool in MSV8i, I realized that the Edge1 and Edge2 are new options added in CE. So it should be a new developer who missed the SET ITEM TOOLSETTINGS support which need an expert of resource file.
I will file a bug for this. For now, you have to use my keyins to replace SET ITEM TOOLSETTING.
