Level in-line leader label

Question

When placing labels with leader, the in-line leader doesn't seem to have a level. 
 I wonder if it can take the properties of the text or the leader? 
 Can somebody help me with this problem?

It would be helpful if you could provide details of the software and version you're using.

 Generally, when you're using the Place Label or Place Note tool the in-line leader should be placed on the active level but may also depend on any settings you have defined in the tools or possibly in the Dimension Style you're using. 
 I have been able to replicate the issues with the In-Line Leader with the Place Label tool. It appears to work differently than with the Place Note tool. That is, the attributes and operation of the in-line leader in the Place Note tool does not appear to use any of the settings defined in the Dimension Style. The level, colour, line style, weight etc. are not defined on this section and the element is not selectable. 
 I have located the following Bug 653556: Place Label in-line leader cannot be selected and its attributes cannot be edited which I believe covers the description of your particular problem. You might think about raising a new Service Request and we can link this Bug for updates.
