Say I have the following situation:I have a 3D file from which a lot of section call-outs are generated that are referenced in multiple 2D files in Project A. Now when I start working on Project B there is a lot of overlap between the work done on Project A so I want to create a copy of the 3D file and its call-outs in the 2D files from Project A to Project B.If I were to straight up make copies of the files in ProjectWise the references would still be pointing to the original file, requiring me to go through every 2D file and update the references to the call-outs manually.
Is there a way to either automatically update all of the references, or even make a copy of the files in such a way that the references are also automatically updated to the new copy?

Gerd,
The "Convert Reference Files" options is actually pretty much what I was looking for! When working on local files that don't go through ProjectWise this seems to work really well. When doing the same thing when using a file through ProjectWise the reference files don't get saved though even after checking the option. But as you said I'll take that to the ProjectWise Forum. At the very least the workload has gone from needing to manually update all the references to just uploading to ProjectWise in the worst case scenario.Thank you for your assistance!
Happy to resolve
