TAGS

Hi Anthony,

Tags have been deprecated in MicroStation CONNECT Edition. You should consider using Item Types which replaces Tags.
You can check out the below video for a demo on Item Types:

If you still need to use tags in MicroStation CONNECT Edition, you can open its toolbox by using shortcut CTRL+T and turn on checkmark for 'Tags'.

while Karan’s info is the theroretical correct answer: as long as the issues with item handling that can be found around here are not really sorted you may still be better off applying tags (which can be converted later) when items get their handling sorted out. As since of lately I had the chance ot use them blocks with properties in AC - the equivalent or rather the very same of (shared)cells with items in microStation. There I faced no such problems (!?)

you  may not  be aware forum but in CE Items are NOT supported in projectwise title block integration and only works with TAGS with this feature.

Bentley Systems are not conscious of the continuing importance of tags in their own products!  Or perhaps 'deprecated' has some meaning of which we're unaware.
