Are you following the steps as mentioned in below wiki to enable V8i Task Theme:

Yes I did but still not getting the task menu to show up.

go to File>Settings>User 

look down the list for "tasks - open the task navigation user interface" and select it

it should put you back in the file and open the task menu. If it still does not, go to the icon to the right of the workflows (upper left) and select the "dialog" option.
