I have heard complaints from some users about the performance of MicroStation Text Editor under a large amount of text.
How often do you struggle with the performance of our text editor?
Please remember that MicroStation is not text editor software but 3D CAD software.
Just tested this with Oto's 3 paragraphs.
No lag at all with Bentley fonts. When using a TTF and adding another sentence the display can't keep up with my typing speed (about 400-450 chars/min), no noticable lag with displaying the text in the editor box, though.
Windows 10 pro, no Projectwise, file on local server, no Workset used. To be honest: we never experienced any significant lag, always used Bentley fonts.
