How can I find what level a note is on? And how can i change it?

Hi!

I have a note with an associated dimension element and I for the life of me cannot figure out how to discern what level my "note" is on. I can click under properties and drill down to the dimension and it shows me that it is on level "PR BORDER":

And that is fine and is the level i want it to be on...but when i go to print, my 'note' and not the associated dimension 'leader line' has transparency:

Thing is, my level is not set to any transparency:

When I click on note in the properties dialog box, there is no way to see the level it is on or modify any transparency settings:

I've spent hours trying to figure this out and ive looked into dimension styles and text styles and do not see any transparency settings on those. How can i just simply find which "level" my "note" is on?

Many, Many thanks in advance!

  • This is very ingenious!  I did such and discovered that the text was on a different level than the associated dimension:

Still not understanding how I can change the level of the text without dropping the element. It's a nice element because I can move the text and the leader (dimension) will adjust accordingly. Maybe I just need to learn how to make them associated again after dropping them, but I think that is above my pay grade Slight smile. Many thanks Terry!
