Reference Attachment Method Default?

When attaching a reference, is there a way to set the attachment method default to Coincident World?

Hi Travis, 
 I hope you followed the same steps to set coincident world as default in V8i: 
 
 Go to the Workspace > Configuration > Under Category select Reference > Default Attachment Settings and click edit. 
 Set MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS to include attachMethod=coincidentworld. 
 Select ok and yes to save the change. 
 Now save the settings then close and reopen the MicroStation.
