Hi everyone,
Google earth shows only shapes object. Other geometric objects are not visible.
I created a KML file using related tools in Microstation. However, when I open the KML file on Google Earth, almost none of the geometric elements in my drawing are visible.Only shapes are visible. what can be the problem?
I am using MicroStation V8i (select series 1) - VErsion 08.11.07.180 windows x86 and I am not using any additional product.
Thanks,
Also KML that has lines and setting clampToGround: true will not clamp the line unless you have <tesselate>1</tesselate> set inside KML file.
clampToGround: true
<tesselate>1</tesselate>
Thanks Maria,
Your suggestion fixed the problem. Now I can see all elements in my drawing in Google Earth.
Best Regards.
Hi özgür doğan,
Why are you flattening the geometry of the elements if you are still on a 3D file?
Please test your results by changing Altitude mode to Flatten to ground as Ron's suggested in your original 3D file
I see the Altitude mode is set in your screen shot as Relative to ground.
If this still does not work for you, please provide the file (dgn and KML file) for testing purposes.

Right. But I already made flatten all geometric elemetns befor exporting :))
Thanks Ron,
Try using the Flatten To Ground setting.
