I need imagery from Tennessee for a project that has come my way.
I was able to download SID files (sid/aux/sdw/sid.aux.xml) for the area of interest, but I can't attach them. I can select them for attachment, but then I get an error "The file type is not supported - [13]"
I thought we could use SID images? Are there versions that aren't compatible with V8i-SS10? Am I missing a step?Other people are waiting on me for this imagery, and I have no idea how to get it.
I don't have permissions to install apps to my computer, so I don't have anything to try converting the file.I'll try to see how it works in CONNECT later today or Wednesday. I'm not certain how exporting to another format might affect image quality or clarity, but it may be worth a shot.
I'm currently using the Bing images, but those often "tile out" (switch from image to camera icon) when zoomed in, which makes them difficult to work with for the task I need.

Thanks for supplying a link to download your file but it keeps on failing to download. Not sure whether that is a problem on my side , or yours, but you might like to provide another method.

Hi Mary, if you can open in connect then you can use the raster manager to convert to another format that v8iss10 can handle. ITIFF or ECW can be just as good resolution. BTW did any other users at your work have the same problem?
FYI you can install Irfanview to a usb thumb drive and run it from usb .... its my favorite raster viewer as it gives a lot of info about file and can also do batch conversions, very handy when engineers have done lots of iphone site photos...
