 I&amp;#39;m new to using Microstation v8i from CAD. Right now whenever I open a dng it opens another page that is just a grey blank screen. If I try and close it, the page with my drafting also closes. You may have MicroStation set to open more than one Application Window. If you set that off, you should get your screen more to your liking.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Try these steps as a test:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Close out of MicroStation completely&lt;br /&gt;2. Open Task Manager&lt;br /&gt;3. End all Bentley tasks (all Apps &amp;amp; Background Processes as well)&lt;br /&gt;4. Rename the Bentley folder that is located here:&lt;br /&gt;C:\Users\&amp;lt;your user name&amp;gt;\AppData\Local\&lt;br /&gt;Renaming to something like &amp;quot;Bentley_Old&amp;quot; will suffice&lt;br /&gt;5.
