Hi, can we attach Item Types to a face of a Solid? Sort of like the way you can attach a Rendering Material to a face.
Hi dominic SEAH,This functionality is not directly possible with MicroStation or any of its delivered tools.However, I would encourage you to submit this as an Idea in our MicroStation Ideas Portal: https://microstation.ideas.aha.io/
Our development & product management teams regulary review the Ideas here for implementation.You could look into using the Associative Extraction tool or the Extract Faces/Edges tool to extract the solid's face, and then from there, you can attach the item type to that extracted face.Both tools are contained in the Modeling Workflow > Solids Tab > Solid Utilities Ribbon Group
