Hello
i am trying to print from MicroStation Connect Edition to the HP plotter however i get the following error below.
i have attached an extract of the plt file below. As you can see from the bottom of the extract i need to print out long drawings.
For info. The printer is installed on windows and i can print an A3 sheet ie "model = sysprinter". However i need to print direct to the plotter with long prints.
Someone must have had a similar experiene(with there drawing office roll plotter). Feel free to post suggestions(And any, as i am having no success)

Maybe the paper size needs to be added to the Windows Print Driver? What plot driver are you using, a Bentley supplied driver that you modify or are you just relying on the Windows Print Driver?

It's been a LONG time since I had to print directly to a printer - we usually print to PDF, then send them to the printer/plotter as needed. That might be an option for you. You would have to add your roll page sizes to the PDF PLTCFG, but once that's done it should be an easy go.
I do question the default_outfile... line. I suspect that may be trying to write an actual plot file instead of sending the plot to the printer. What happens if you make that line blank after the equals sign?

What is the file format (DGN, DWG or other) you are trying to print?
Updating the printer driver to the latest available driver is always a recommended first step in solving printer-specific problems.
