I'm not able to edit a microstation table outside projectwise. I used to work in a project set up in projectwise and I could easily 'annonate'-'place table' and edit them easily thought its a bit time consuming. However I'm not able to do that anymore as I'm currently working in another project that is set up in autodesk vault. I'm also not able to do the same outside vault in my local folder. Anyone encounter similar issue? Attaching a screenshot of how the table being imported from excel.
While working from PW, after importing a table, row names used to show up as numbered 1,2,3....etc & columns as A,B,C....etc.
The screenshot attached above, I'm not able to remove the fill colour as well.
Any idea how to fix this?
It is always a good idea to mention the software and version being used.

Can you explain what is happening on your system when you try to use the > Annotate > Place Note tool? Is it not opening the dialog? Are there any error messages?
As you will understand the AutoDesk Vault software is not supported by Bentley so you should probably contact them if it is directly related to the operation of there software. But you mentioned this issue is also occurring outside of this DMS. So it would be best to properly explain what the issue actually is.

Thanks for replying Bell.
I'm using MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 17 Version 10.17.01.62.
The issue is that I'm not able to edit a excel table after it's imported into MS. The table comes through, but its filled with white colour like the excel sheet, but I'm not able to edit and remove the fill colours. It doesn't give me an option to edit the row/columns widths as its not snapping with the double arrow symbol. Basically, I'm not able to edit the table like before.
Its also displaying this message while adding the table.

In what version of MicroStation were you able to edit your table?
Can you provide an example DGN file that includes a table? You can attach a file using the Insert->Insert Image/video/file button.

I was able to edit table in the previous version before the update. However, I only updated after the issue started thinking that an update would solve the issue. I'm not able to upload the .dgn file using the insert option.
