Hi,
I have lost my tool settings dialog box and properties window box. I used to have them docked and now they are missing.
I have looked behind windows, underneath views etc and no luck. I have followed the instructions in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHciLh9rfnc) again with no luck.
Can anyone please help me?

What is the exact version no. (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation that you are using?
Check whether the toolbox has been deselected from the Tool Boxes list(File->setting->User->Tool Boxes).
The issue could also related to the corrupted UPF file.
I would suggest trying to reset the User Preferences and Delete the MicroStation's temporary files by following the steps reported at following link:

Remember to create a backup of your pref folder in case of this process does not solve the issue.

Thanks for your reply. I am using 10.17.01.62.
I think you are correct about the corrupt UPF file and i seemed to have fixed the issue without wiping out all my personalized window config.
I made a copy of my pref folder, then copied in a backup pref folder from our IT server and then overwrote the Personal.docking.xml and Personal.explorer-settings.xml files with my backed up files.
Re opened Connect and had all my same window and tool config and my tool dialog box had reappeared.
