Does anyone else experience Lag/Freeze on startup

Question

Massive complaints from our users when opening and switching files. 
 Using MS 2023 and MS Connect 16 
 The files open, taking a few seconds, displaying libraries being loaded etc. We can interact with the file for a second or so, then it freezes for a few seconds more. If users click the screeen the dreaded clos/wait option pops up, and a few seconds later, pops back to life. So frustrating

Accessing files over the network depends upon, Type of network (LAN, WAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.), Network congestion and other factors. This falls under the Network Administrator domain. 
 Logically we are using the same code to access files locally v/s network. Microsoft Process Monitor can be used to check the time stamps (local v/s network). 
 Please log a Service Case and share the following. 
 
 Copy of your MicroStation Configuration (WorkSpace, WorkSet, other files) 
 MSDEBUG log. 
 Microsoft Process Monitor logs. 
 
 We can also have a call to better understand your setup.

 Optimize performance by disabling thumbnail preview. Refer Blog 
 Reloading the product after closing the Properties, Explorer dialog has improved performance. Refer Wiki 
 Upgrade to the latest version MicroStation 2023 - Version:23.00.01.44, visit Software Downloads

To troubleshoot effectively, we may have to narrow down to a specific problem area. 
 Network install, still occurs locally, but not on bentley example projects 
 
 Once you have narrowed down to a local setup , certain WorkSpace, WorkSet , try to get a MSDEBUG log of your configuration. 
 When the program hangs, can we get couple of hang dumps , which can be reviewed by our developers. 
 
 Ideally log a Service Case in Bentley Support Portal and share the logs, dumps.
