Set relative reference path for file in Connect version

When manually attaching a reference file through reference manager>tools>attach the "File Name" column is equal to the real name of the file.

But when selecting multiple files and mouse dragging them into Reference manager the "File Name" column shows the full system path to the file rather than the file name, which is in many cases confusing to work with.

Is there a way to change this, so mouse dragging multiple files at once through windows file manager end only with the actual file name displayed rather than the full system path?
