We have version 10.15.0.74 of the application. Everytime user is launching the application while working from home, the app is throwing error "Microstation has stopped working."
We are seeing a lot of errors "?GetModuleFileName failed with error 126 for 0000025C46570000" in exception.log file
Is anyone aware about this? Anyone know how can it be resolved?
Hi Sahil,
Kindly answer these FAQs
1) When did this problem start occurring?
2) What are the recent changes made in environment?
4) Is it file specific?
5) Are you accessing the file from the network? Try a simple file from local drives (C or D)
5) Are you using ProjectWise?
It may be worth trying to reset user prefs directory following the steps in this wiki article:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/8978/how-to-reset-user-preferences-and-delete-microstation-s-temporary-files

This error has been intermittently there.
It is happening when the user is trying to access the sites remotely/from home.
It is being accessed from local drive.
We are not using projectwise.
We even re-installed the package but the issue persists. Kindly suggest if something can be done.
Hi Sahil,To add to what my colleague, Zeno, suggested - if you continue to have issues with MicroStation, we would recommend you submit a Support Case so you can work with our MicroStation support team to reach a timely resolution. Here is the link for the Bentley Support Portal: https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/csp

Just to follow on from my colleagues, this version of MicroStation CONNECT Edition (10.15.00.74) has not been certified or supported for systems with Windows 11.
We would strongly suggest that the user upgrade to the latest release of MicroStation CONNECT Edition (Update 17.2) or MicroStation 2023.1 to ensure that they have the latest supported version certified for use on Windows 11.
But as Jayson suggested it may be worth raising a new case to us via the Service Now portal.
Remember to include any error log files and event logs etc for this to be investigated properly.
