Adding an additional leader to an existing note

Here is how I do it.

I place a note without text with the style I want.  This will place a leader only.  Then with the Association Lock ON, and then also checked ON in the Place Note Dialog Box, use  Modify, and move the non arrow end to the spot on the text I want it to be.  If you snap to the end of the previous leader it will not work, it must show you snapping to the text part.  This magically connects them. 

This is in XM btw, and I hope it makes sense.

Thanks for the neat tip Kevin. Is it possible to "unassociate" that leader after that?

You mean be able to delete the new leader?  Yes, just deleteing it works, but no idea if you can unassociate, sorry.
