Hi
I have setup V8i to run a series of printers which are linked to a corresponding print style i.e. pdf.pltcfg calls up pdf print style. It appear that MicroStation V8i take 3 to 5 seconds to load the print dialog. This is constant throughout the day and not just the first load of the Print dialog.
Any ideas why it takes so long.
Note; the workspace is located on a mapped network drive

You have posted to many threads concerning slow dialog load times. Does your problem extend to all routines of MicroStation or are only a few affected? What is your typical workstation machine specifications: O.S., processor, graphics, memory & etc.? What is your network specifications: N.O.S., LAN, WAN & etc.? You also mention your workspace is on the server, how does MicroStation respond on your systems using the delivered (local) workspace?

I was facing this issue untill i fixed it by printing your file as an image.
