Leader ends not showing up

IT IS THE IN-LINE LEADER CHECK BOX.

 

In XM it's in the Dimension Styles Dialog box > Text tab In-Line Leader. Toggle it on, and change the size to match what you need.

At the very bottom of the Place Note tool settings, there is a chech box for "In-Line Leader".
If all you see at the bottom is "Apply changes to all text", you will need to expand the tool settings dialog by clicking the little down arrowhead in the corner.

Thanks.  I have in-line leader checked in dimension styles and in the Place Note settings.  It seems to work when I have new text.  But when I have an existing note that I want to add a new leader to, the in-line leader does not show up.

There is another thread dealing with some dimensioning issues. A Bentley rep replied that there is a bug with dimensioning. This may be part of that. I also have a thread dealing with leadered text. My issue is when you have leader text and the leader is at the top right of your dimension and want to change it to the bottom right, the leader moves to the right but will not move to the bottom. That is by using the change dimension tool. If I redraw the text with the correct settings it places fine. There must be a few bugs with the edit dimension tool.
