How can I print cell libraries contents ?

Hello,

I have to analyze several .CEL files (a lot in fact !), created by different people from different places. All are in V8 Edition 2004 format. The target is to create a unique cell libraries by selecting the best existing cells.
So, I need to know which cells are in each cell libraries. Does a method, or a tool, exist for printing cell libraries, showing the cell and its name ? (PDF, paper, JPG, ...)

I know the CELL SELECTOR tool, but it doesn"t help me as it doesn't print.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Sébastien

  • I can´t believe nobody mentioned the HTML author. It is delivered with every version of Microstation since at least SE. It can be found in the Utilities pull down menu and allows to generate a HTML page with a list of either Cells in a library, Saved Views in files or available macro´s. You cannot copy or move cells, but it is a great visualisation of the library content for both users and CADmanagers. Also the webpages can be linked to V8, making it a sort of Cell Selector on XTC.

    It is allready there.

    Good luck
