Call out bubble shading covering text

We at MDSHA created custom call out bubbles for our drainage structures. These bubbles have a fill (bg color) that covers any drawing elements underneath them. They used to work just fine in 2004 and XM. I am using V8i SS1 now and I cann't see the text inside the bubble unless the fill is turned off, however a collegue who is using 2004 can view them alright. The display setting is set to wireframe. Anyone has any idea what needs to be set in V8i display setting to solve this issue?

  • Hi,

Are you using closed shapes as Callout bubbles?

If yes, then what you can do is use open shape bubbles e.g. if you are using circle, then use a 360 degree arc; if you are using a rectangle, use a line segment to create rectangle.

    Hope this helps,

  • I recall I has something similar a while back but it was a Direct X bug.  The text showed "through(on top of filled shapes)" regardless of the element order.  Are these cells? 2D or 3D? Have you checked the element order or are you using element priority? Any samples?
