I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to extend the in-line leader of a note through (or in between) the two lines of text easily. Does this functionality exist within the dimension style? See image

Thanks for the reply, I'll check this out.
The suggested settings by mwlong do seem to work but only for limited circumstances. It only seems to work for 2 lines of text 3 lines makes the leader leg go through the note and with more the 2 line the underline leader usually goes under the first line of text. Also it seems as soon as the dimension style is saved and the leader is updated the text moves to the outside of the leader.

It's not perfect but works for the original question.
You will probably want to set up a separate style to avoid the text moving to a different location.
