I have some old logos in the attached file (a few different models). They contain simple text, text nodes, shapes, etc. One piece of text in each has "moved". Everything looks fine when opened in XM but not in v8i. Can anyone see a simple solution for this? I would like to maintain only 1 cell library with these.

Number of things I've found.
You have an orphan cell in a cell. It's not "illegal" but I don't see any reason for it.
You are using a non MicroStation fonts that are map to a resource files that other people don't have.
You have an intercharater spacing of -0.072727 that may be causing issues.
Yes there is something strange about the justification point for EMCS.
I would recommend you drop the text into shapes.
In my opinion requiring sites to have a bunch of fonts just to display your logo is a bad idea. I see it all the time, well actually I don't see because I don't have the same font config which is why I think its a bad idea. In general I try to drop text in cells to so they are not site dependent.
