How do I move leader text in Microstation

How do I turn off the Graphic Group lock? How do I set select tool to individual?

My apologies I did not know that I was Hijacking because the same thing was happening to me and I needed to know the same answer. Again I'm sorry.

Thank you I found the toggle to turn the lock on. I couldn't see it on my screen. I am using V8i ss2.

Never a problem, I use a lot of forums and there is a difference in how people parse this. I'm of the less threads is more school, so I get corrected once in a while. Always wear the thick skin to the social media.[folks also disagree if this is social media]

another thing that can happen with place note leaders they can be disassociated  and the arrow doesnt  move with the text and

vice a versa this can drive you nuts in help there is method to re associate  a place note or dim...  for me  I just copy the text and rebuild the place note then I can drag it...

I also think if you have the association tag ticked off by accident then you will make un associated place notes  as you place them  ....  happened to me once!

Personally, my experience of notes in MicroStation was not something I enjoyed. I feel how they work in Revit is better, i.e. grab the leader and it and the text moves, grab the text and only it moves plus there is no association loss nor the in-line leader setting. Instead I almost exclusively prefer to just use the Note tool to create Leaders and create separate notes via the text tool. That always seemed a more robust method of working.
