Copy Text w/ TextStyle applied & Overrides

I must experience this every day and would love to see if there is enough support in the community to encourage development to move this problem up the resolution ladder.

  • Place some text using a TextStyle (without "Apply changes to all text" selected).
  • Within that same text node and apply some overrides to some characters:
    • Type a "n" and shange the font to "Symbol" = Ø
    • Hightlight an entire word and hit "Underline"
  • Now copy the text node and what you will see is all overrides are lost.

I see this a a major productivity issue. The problem also is present in the "Find/Replace Text" tool.

    And I was searching the forum for some hints about text styles and their overrides.
    And the best fitting post was this one, IMHO.

    I have some issues with a dwg based now converted dgn file. Where text(nodes) properties are not ALL matching the text style settings nor they are visibly right. I can see justification as left bottom with the text properties and the same in the appropriate textstyle but if I snap to the textnode element I see justification for the text node elemet as middle bottom! Why?
    So indeed I did not read that post clearly and have to look for help somewhere. I will open a new post.
