I have a file where the text stays in the same rotation angle when the view is rotated. I don't want this in the file. How is this happening and how do I change the text?
This would likely be view-independent text. When creating text, there's a mode on the tool settings to place view independent text (text that doesn't rotate with the view). After the fact, you can use the Change Text Attributes tool to remove it (select 'dependent' under the 'view' option in the tool settings).
If you analyze these text elements you should find they are View Independent. You can change them back to View Dependent with the change text attributes tool.
Thanks. For some reason, after changing the original text to View Dependant, it still doesn't rotate with the view. If I place new text, Method=Origin, the text rotates with the view. It seems like I need to replace all the text.
No, replacing text shouldn't be necessary.Did you change the attributes on the existing text, or just set the option? It is not a global setting but per element.Setting the option would affect new elements, but not change existing; you need to do that explicitly. So you need to select all the text and apply the attribute.

Is the text in a cell? If so, you might have to modify the cell to view dependent.
