1) Manipulate > Rotate, set Method to "3 points".

2) Pick text to be rotated.

3) Next, either pick the pivot point, or confirm the text selection (depending on whether you checked "About Element Center" in the Rotate dialog).

4) With focus on AccuDraw, key in "RE" for Rotate Element. Pick the selected text. The AccuDraw compass should align with the red line parallel to the text. It can be tricky to pick the right spot, repeat this step if you miss.

5) Move cursor to snap to the compass red line and pick again to define start of rotation.

6) With focus on AccuDraw, key in "RE" again and pick the line you're trying to align to. The compass should align with the red line parallel to the line. Again, repeat this step if you miss.

7) Move cursor to snap to the compass red line and pick again to define end of rotation.

Hope this helps anyone still looking.

You can download Active Angle Assistant to rotate the text to the line. Then you just move the text into position. You could also use the edit text tool and copy the text then use place text and switch it to along element.

Please advise me again..

Re: How can i align a text over a line?

Hello,

When you place a text you can change the Method to Along Element in the Tool Settings dialog

Then you just select the element along which you want to place the text.

Kind regards,
