The font utility mdl is delivered with SS3.

Use the following keyin to load the mdl and display the dialog.

mdl load fontutilities;font utilities dialog

For the version of the utility that is available for public consumption right now, yes it is.

Given that this problem comes up over and over again, why can't Bentley just release it as an iWare app or an MDL app? I have a DOT-supplied font .rsc that I would like to get in and customize to meet our internal standards. Is the only way to get this via an ST??

Downlaoding, installing then using V8.5 on a 15min try out was sufficient for me to do the task at hand, extracting a font needed by some old files, sledgehammer to crack a nut though.

That is a leading question :)

Seriously, submitting a Service Ticket on the subject will result in various information returned, depending primarily on the specific release of MicroStation you are using (note that we do not provide a service to do font resource maintenance).

Does this means that there is an utility available by filing an ST or that the service desk will do the .rsc maintenance for us?

Currently, the way to do that is to log a Service Ticket.
