The notes were placed with a text weight of 0, and we need to change the weight to 1. On some of the notes, we can simply use the "Change

Re: Changing weight of text note not consistent

Create a new level for notes,

Set the dim style to your stds

make the dim level set for dimensions with keyin LD= dimension or notes level name

select all the offending notes move to notes level

make you dim style settings with weights and text styles

Select all your notes ( dims) and change the dims to active dim style via the dim tools palellet..

If that dont work.. and there are less than 50 notes to change then proceed to following

now make a new level call it new dims

Turn off all levels and refs except the bad dims level ( put an over rides on bad dims to say red so you can see them) and new dims set new dims to active and dim style

now redo note leaders by edit text, cut, place note , trace over top , paste text ( saves typing)

Now you should have 2 sets of of dims bad and good ... select all the bad and delete , rename good dim level to what it should be...

A lot of steps to detail instructions but not a lot to actually do... 50 would take me more or less 30 mins

Re: Changing weight of text note not consistent

Just something to check, is any of the text using true type fonts? Is the text and leaders placed bylevel? If yes then change level weight in Level Manager.

If the text is not placed bylevel then you should be able to select all text with powerselector and use change elements attributes but, only have the change the line weight option checked to the line weight you wish to use

Follow the prompts in Microstation.
