Hello All!
I am trying to do a find and Replace Text and insert a Symbol from the Symbols dialog (i.e. U+0394 or U+03A9) Delta (triangle) or Ohm (Omega symbol)
How do I key-in the Symbol codes in the Find and Replace dialog or in the Text Editor - Word Pricessor dialog (other than picking from Symbol dialog)?
I am using V8i(Ss2). Any help is appreciated!
I know that I can insert the symbol into the Word Processor dialog, then copy it out of that dialog and paste it into the Find/Replace text dialog. There must be a key-in code, since the Unicode is shown when you idle over the symbol in the Symbols dialog. I want to use it in a Batch Process.
I Hope this Helps!
Hi gfradar,
If I remember correctly, once you find the char. code #, you had to use the number keypad on your keyboard, not the keys over the numbers. Sounds weird, but it worked for me.

I understand that so why are they showing the Unicode instead of the \### code that you would use?
It is a pain to try to figure the \### to use for the character.
PS You going to BE?
I hear ya, seemed to work better in was it v8? J? Of course, you didn't have access to all the TTF fonts either...
