We have two workstations running Microstation V8i SS2 (08.11.07.443) on XP SP3. After a recent install of a program called "Outlook Messenger" by our IT department, the users reported that the Word Processor would no longer edit text. Initially, this affected all our workstations (7 & XP), but after a ticket was submitted to Bentley, the issue for the Windows 7 workstations was resolved when we re-installed the DHTML.msi.
However, the issue still remains and is an ongoing ticket with Bentley, No.8001535443, for the XP stations.
We've tried multiple solutions, to no avail. I have used regsrvr32 to uninstall and re-install the dhtml files, verified the registry key for dhtml and even re-installed the prerequisite pack with no results. Short of dumping the Messenger program and re-installing Microstation, I don't know what else to do.
The users are using the Dialog Box to edit text right now, but one user has noted when he goes to edit stacked fractions with the Dialog Box, it too, quits working.
Any suggestions?
