I'm trying to place a cell using a key in.
The key in im using is 'as=1;aa=0;lv=3;co=2;c,<cellname>'
but this is only setting the active scale & angle to 0 and the level to 3, the color stays 0 as it is in the cell library.
any ideas why this does not work
Cheers
Mark
I think you need to use the relative level feature .. then this will place the cell on a level of your choosing ...rather than the level of the cell it self and if the level doesnt exist it creates it and with overide colour 0..
try turning off overides first then use as=1;aa=0;lv=3;co=2;ac=<cellname> and see if its still white ie colour 0..
if it is then try to work out the relative command so it doesnt use override but the settings for level 3...

To expand on previous answers:
To place a cell on the active level and inherit the active colour: Use point cells. See: "> http://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/askinga/w/askinga/differences-between-cell-types.aspx
To place a graphic cell on the active level and use it's own colours: Enable the Relative option in the Place Active Cell command, or keyin the command place cell relative
To place a graphic cell on the active level with a specific colour: Set up the override colour for the active level. Place the cell relative to the active level, and then turn on the display of the Level Overrides via the View Attributes dialog.
