I am looking to setup "hot keys" similar to what I am used to in AutoCAD. For instance I would like to
hit "L" and the line command be active or "T" for trim and that command be active.
Does a script need to be wrote for this? How do I go about this?
Thanks guys!
You can customize the AccuDraw shortcuts file to include your own shortcuts to activate commands. Please refer to the following article to get started: communities.bentley.com/.../command-aliasing-part-2.aspx
This is one of the greatest finds ever. I've been using it for over 5 years and have over 200 shortcuts defined. You are limited to 2 letter combos and you may find yourself overwriting some of the default ones. You can also use letter-number (e.g. F5) and letter-symbol (e.g. P[ ) combos. Determine if you need an existing shortcut before overwriting it. Back up your current shortcut.txt file and store it somewhere in case you ever need to get it back.
You will need that mdl (adrstv8i.mdl) that Inga is referring to. That particular web page is no longer available but this link should get you where you need to go:
www.cadmanage.com/cadgurus.php
Find the section that says "AccuDraw Reset V8i" and click on that link to download it.
