Is there a way to have usta choose active elements FIRST over reference elements WITHOUT turning ref locate off?
When I try and select an element I JUST placed I have to constantly reset through reference(s) file elements. It's pretty annoying. I would think Active Elements would be the priority and any dgn file.

In this discussion Trouble Report # 300592 had been raised for Microstation V8i (SELECTseries 2).
This now seems to have been fixed and rectified for Microstation V8i (SELECTseries 3).
If you find this is still an issue within the latest release I would suggest you might like to raise a new Service Request for it to be investigated by the Technical Support Group.

you can set up variable in workspace to always have the active drg model ontop so ref files data are not the first objects to snap on...
