Hi,
I can’t reference Rhino files when there is a material witha bitmap attached in the Rhino file. It either hangs or crashes.
I had this problem in 08.11.09.357. I recently installed 08.11.09.459as it has Rhino 5 support. The problem is still happening.
Are others having this issue?
There is an obvious workaround of detaching the material inRhino but it should be fixed.

Attached is a zip file with 2 rhino files embedded, one with a material attached and the same one without.
