I saw a piece of an article, it referenced a text2 file, I could not find. I found the file plotdlg.ma what a really big help, once I worked through it. I was looking for a similar file on text key-in commands. I went to Ina, but the note claimed the list was no longer being kept up ?.
My problem many times when I open a drawing to edit the text will be left and I need center or right and I need left. I would like a way to just key-in what I want first and not go to paste the text and the justification is off. Any help from some of you really smart guys like Mr. Phil?
Great, Great and thank you so much. Now a little bit further if you will. I did search through Key-in help, but did not find. The above box shows a command that works. It prints out a message.
I am trying to combine the great information you gave me with the Message printed below at the same time
m, ms Text set to Left Center, or m, ms Text sent to Center/Center and so on to match the command active TNJ LC, or active TNJ CC and then tie the commands together, I tried : colon, ; semi, I just could not know how to series the key-in commands. I keep trying the script files, but I never get them to work. I think I need the script file closer to the root drive ? C:\Script\name.txt ( commands inside of the name.txt file?

While I have someone knowledgeable on Key-in commands, I made the script file and they all worked great.
active TNJ CCm,ms TEXT CENTER/CENTER
active TNJ LCm,ms TEXT LEFT/CENTER and the matching one for RC now can you show me commands to set the Height and Width in the same box?
Height #1 and Width #2, if you know them the Line Spacing would be wonderful information as well, I have had to set that a few time when using larger text.
I have learned a Key-in command will not interrupt a command, but the VBA macros will. Thanks for all this help. I have not had any work for 7 months and Now I am trying to get back into the work full swing.
when i type in this key-in, the command window already displays Node Just=LT... do you really need more than that for the message?
on your other key-in question..
you can set Text Height and Width to the same value with the key-in:
TX=<value>
if you want to set them separately...
TH=<value> and TW=<value> for Height and Width respectively...
and as you may guess...
LS=<value> for Line Spacing
Keyboard Shortcuts has a long list of other 2-letter key-ins...

I was unable to make a Description, I found this and thought it might work somehow with VBA, or could someone give me a similar one to this in VBA?
I used something like this in my dos day data bases, It was like a menu and gave you choices as what you wanted done.
This would give some selection to a VBA macro command
Envision cad just last week published a free macro to do exactly this without changing the actually moving the position of the text you can correct whole file text justification...for the website and explanation ... hurry as free download will only be available for 2-3 weeks so get it asap....
