Solids will hide things below.

Make sure you do all this with the view setting in your model.

Make sure it is sync'd properly.

For a test ---- get is like you like it in your model as a saved view and reattach.

that way you know whether it is a sync issue or something else.

Do you have 'synchronise' turned ON, when you reference the file in to the Sheet?

Have a look at the the following on Cached Visible Edges which is new to MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 3. There was also another similar post to yours regarding True Hidden Line
