Hi,
We are sending DGN file from a browser. When DGN file is open in MicroStation and it is being sent via browser at the same time, mostly DGN file disappears (deleted) and DGNxxxxx.tmp file is created. After exiting MicroStation, when you manually rename DGNxxxxx.tmp as DGN file, it works fine.
Why DGNxxxxx.tmp file is created?
Why original DGN file is deleted?
DGN file is still open during sending it by browser. Sending process may take several minutes according to upload speed.
I think MicroStation wants to autosave DGN file during upload process. Because two applications wants to use same file at the same time, MicroStation fails to update it.
How can we fix this collision?

What version of MicroStation do you have loaded. For clarification when you say 'you are sending DGN file from a browser', how exactly are you doing this?

Please clarify what that means. Presumably a web browser, but what can you do in a web browser to 'send a DGN file'?

I am sending DGN file using a HTML form and an input file object.

And what is the input file object? Can you post the HTML code around that input file object? Is it an ActiveX component or similar?
What happens if you send a different type of file — a Word document, for example?
