&lt;p&gt;Then in the new dgn file again use the &amp;quot;Settings&amp;gt;Color Table...&amp;quot; pulldown, then from the Color Table dialog use the &amp;quot;File&amp;gt;Open...&amp;quot; pulldown and select the saved color table file.&lt;/p&gt;

When you create a new DGN file in Microstation it will attach the default color table allocated within the seed file. When in this DGN file you can see which color table has been allocated and change this whichever one required. Please look in the menu:&lt;/p&gt;
