How can the colors table export todo other new file?

I need help again.I am new user.Is it possible export the colors of table a new file?. Please I need your help. Thanks.

  • Use the "Settings>Color Table..." pulldown, then from the Color Table dialog use the "File>Save As..." pulldown to save the current color table, name it what you want, usually the file extension is .tbl or .ctb.

Then in the new dgn file again use the "Settings>Color Table..." pulldown, then from the Color Table dialog use the "File>Open..." pulldown and select the saved color table file.

Hope this is what your after.

  • i have  macro at work  that can list name and RGB recipe  as well as a print of colours like paint swatches from  a paint store lets you try several colour tables and print outs for handy reference  is this what your trying to do or do you really just want a csv list of the rgbs? or reuse the table from one file into another?

    more details please

  • Would you be able to provide further details as to what you are trying to achieve here. When you create a new DGN file in Microstation it will attach the default color table allocated within the seed file. When in this DGN file you can see which color table has been allocated and change this whichever one required. Please look in the menu:

    > Settings Color Table
