In the lower left corner of my screen there was a readout you could enter distance into when drawing a line I cannot make a picture I lost the display? what did I get turned off by mistake? there were two readouts in this lower corner, how do I get back on, I tried a Co-ordinate search, but did not find my answer.
RJB: If the readout that is missing looks something like this, then Stuart is correct - you've closed the Accudraw dialog.
The icon he showed to toggle Accudraw on and off is in the Primary toolbar. If it is not visible when you open another file, open Settings>Accudraw and check "Auto Load" under the Operation tab.
Actually now I no longer have the X Y, I have I am sure the answer is correct, but I do not know how I lost the X Y, I found the tool bar symbol, I think and clicked it and the above will turn on and off, but will try again. Well tried again and the above turns on and off. I got something messed up, hope someone knows. Perhaps Phil???

Would any of this be in my problem? maybe something set wrong, I see the view center on active Z, but I am only doing 2D never the 3D.
Ok, I just found it under the coordinates tab, Thanks to the above answer on it was Accudraw, It put me on the right trail and allowed me to find the answer.
It was on polar? perhaps it was just this drawing that was setup wrong. should the Unit round be checked? or will that lock up something else? Anyway I got the X Y back, but I do use the Q for lines and it does seem to turn it off and on??
someone mentioned taking the Q out of something, but not sure what was meant or how to do it. Thanks to all who tried to assist me in fixing another mess I must have made.
When Accudraw has focus, hitting the space bar toggles the mode between rectangular and polar. You (or another user) may have accidentally changed it.

Thank you John, that makes sense, I knew I did not remember going into the check boxes and changing any. I appreciate your taking the time to respond.
